Nissan New Vehicle Warranty Coverage

Buying a new vehicle means trusting that particular brand to have your back when it comes to all your driving needs for many years to come. It is a major expense, and the last thing you want in case something goes wrong is to spend loads more money to get that problem fixed. The Nissan new vehicle warranty coverage is the kind of helping hand and reassuring policy you need to give you the peace of mind once you leave the dealership in your new car.

Nissan offers a number of different coverages to account for how large and complicated vehicles are at their core. In the event that something goes wrong and needs to be replaced, the Basic Coverage, Powertrain Coverage, and Corrosion Coverage is meant to ease the burden so you do not end up having to foot the bill of a costly repair. Basic Coverage is available on all new models except the Nissan Titan Nissan Leaf, and the Nissan commercial vehicles.

Basic Coverage

If something needs to be repaired to correct defects in the materials or workmanship, Basic Coverage can help. This lasts for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Powertrain Coverage

If something happens to your engine, transmission and transaxle, drivetrain, or restraint system, this can handle it. The period lasts for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Corrosion Coverage

You don't want rust to devour your new car whole, so this coverage, which lasts for 60 months regardless of mileage, aims to protect you from dealing with such corrosion on your new vehicle.

Extended coverage options available for new Nissan models

In addition to the warranty coverage noted above, you also have the option of getting extended coverage. There could be other issues that might arise outside of the limitations of those three main coverages, and that is where such optional extended coverages for replacement batteries, genuine Nissan parts and accessories, roadside assistance, and more come into play.

For more information about what Nissan offers under its warranty, or if you would like to take a look at any of our new Nissan models and see what kind of coverage is available for them, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.
